We Didn’t Know What To Do So We Danced
A site specific performance to familiarize ourselves with collaboration and joy after a long period of isolation. Dancers and musicians explore their relationships to each other while rotating throughout the Invalidovna grounds. The closeness and distance that is possible in a space. The ways we interact with our bodies after a period of distance. We explore these moments and the relationship between music and the body. The Audience is welcome to participate as a dancer or musician as well as observe and enjoy.
Site Specific
Our performances are site specific. Which means we perform them in different locations. It can be a traditional theatre space, a festival, outdoors, an art gallery, a museum, Anywhere you can imagine. We create the performance and let the space we are in inspire the work. So each performance is a unique experience. So far we have performed in a Austro-Hungarian invalid hospital, an art gallery, a courtyard, public spaces, yards, theatres, and old breweries. We are excited to see what performances come next!
