PREMIERE: LOVE/LASKO at PQ+ with PerformCzech. June 2023, Prague Czech Republic

LOVE/LASKO found its way to a premiere at Kampus Hybernska in Prague for the 2023 Prague Quadrennial.

Performed with Alyssa Dillard and Soojin Jo. Inspired by All About Love by bell hooks. L.O.V.E/L.A.S.K.O is a conversation about how our understanding of love and relationships, both with our partners and ourselves changes over time. The characters think about relationships look like now, and if they work and, what relationships will look like in the future. The performance is in 4 acts that can be performed as a long performances or in small one-two act versions.

Divadlo X10 Residency

Inspired by All About Love by bell hooks. This project is an exploration on love and intimacy in a period of distance and isolation. The project’s goal is to start a conversation about how our relationship to love and relationships, both with our partners and ourselves has changed over time. Exploring the stories of our own upbringing and expectation for loving relationships as well as the stories we all know. How our cultures also inform our relationship and understanding of love. The dramaturgical intention is to pose a question. Both to the performers and to the audience about what relationships look like for us now, and if they work. And, what relationships will look like in the future.
